Just got to tell you guys, you are the best. After researching all other schools we where totally amazed by your reputation, the training and the amazing facilities. We attended the two week program and felt like we where coming to work in a real bar and had so much fun learning. We both want to let you know we've landed our first jobs. I took your bartending course a while back and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going with you guys. You will be pleased to know that I got a bartending job at the ACC, and I am serving at a pub near my new place in the beaches. YOUR ACCREDITATION has been amazing for opening doors for good serving jobs and I just wanted to thank you for all of your help!!
I have recently been interviewed for a fine dining restaurant near my place called IL Fornello and I need to take your wine seminar as they require a lot of wine knowledge so I will be in touch very soon for dates and times.

Hello, I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Holidays! I also wanted to thank you for the great experience at BSO. Diana and Rob were just amazing and entertaining instructors. Thank you Victor for the lead on the bartending job. After 3 shifts I made back the money I invested in the Bartending program and Smart Serve. After going through The Bartending School Of Ontario's course, I would like to say a few things in praise of Rob, the instructor that I had during the four weeks. I found Rob to be exceptionally dedicated to teaching; this was evident by his making sure that each lesson was informative as well as enjoyable. He imparted his technical knowledge of bartending, as well as the practical knowledge that he has gained through years of actual bartending. Rob made a conscientious effort to impose the pitfalls and dangers of his profession upon the class, while at the same time giving a realistic picture of what to expect in the industry. I felt that Rob was genuinely concerned about the welfare of his students he always made time during breaks and after class to answer any questions or provide extra teachings that a student asked for. It was the first time in my life I actually wanted to wake up for school because I thoroughly enjoyed what I was learning. I finished your course on December 16 and wanted to comment on the outstanding job of my instructor Rob and the positive environment he created. I am a teacher at a local University and have trained teachers for many years, both in Canada and overseas. Rob is probably one of the most dynamic and skilled teachers I have ever worked with. He is very learner centered, and was able to vary his teaching technique in order to meet a variety of learning styles. His classes were always engaging, well organized and fun to be a part of. he was aware of student's weaknesses and made a point of constantly reminding them of what they needed to change. He was able to turn potentially dry material into something interesting with his wit, humour and charm. I cannot count the number of times I laughed during the course, and consequently will not forget what he taught me. you have an outstanding instructor in Rob, and like myself, I'm sure his students leave his course with a positive learning experience....Paul Ward

Hola! Well my first season at Club Med is almost over. What a blast! The training I received at The Bartending School Of Ontario has made a career for me. I use something I learned everyday. I just finished your course and I passed the exam with a 100% mark. AWESOME!!! I truly enjoyed your school and my experience. Before I came to your classes, I didn't know anything about bartending. The main reason it was so easy for me to get it all in in 4 weeks was my instructor Rob. He made the material so easy to understand and he made classes so much fun. He gave us all the ups and downs of the bartending job and taught us what to do and how to do it right. He told us what to expect aswell. He is the best teacher I've ever had!!! Thanks to you Rob. Just completed my last class and am now studying for the final exam. I would like to say that my instructor Rob was possibly the best teacher any school could have. Just wanted to send an email and saying hi and saying thanks for the course. It was informative as well as being a lot of fun. Although I bartended before, I took the course to help me understand other areas of bartending that I didn't know to well. Currently, I am working in South East Asia in the Maldives and have been here for almost a month. It is FABULOUS!! I am bartending and supervising other bartenders and waiters. The language barrier was a little frustrating at first, not to mention that I am the only female working in the bar or the food and beverage department for that matter. It's challenging, but I love it. Because the customer service level isn't at it's best here, I was asked to design a program to train these guys on how to give the best customer service..THE CANADIAN WAY...LOL. I would like to thank you for the great bartending course I took in July. The instructor Lynda made it fun and provided lots of real life examples on how to deal with various issues. My certificate has been framed and will be proudly displayed at the bar at Wilson's Beach House in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. Again, thanks Ian Wilson.

My name is Lamont and for the previous 4 weeks, I had the opportunity to learn from Rob at your institution. Rob is nothing short of great. As a certified corporate trainer, I was naturally observant of his facilitation behaviours (just like I'll be aware of bartenders' behaviours thanks to your outstanding program). I could have learned to pour and mix drinks anywhere - Rob (and your school) taught me how to bartend. The importance of personality, responsibility and prioritization were re-enforced as much as the importance of getting the right ingredients. Fundamentally, the facilitation encompassed all aspects of SAVI (the learning styles). We practiced hands on mixing (somatic), heard Rob and Diana, explain the information (auditory), saw the drinks and the ingredients on the black board - Rob even reminded us to take mental pictures of the final drink (visual) and he gave us acronyms (intellectual) for the more complex drinks and garnishes (cranberry = no garnish; orange = orange/cherry). At the end of the day, your program (including your study material) is well designed and very well executed. The program cost is a steal and I will recommend your institution to anyone I know looking to get into bartending. I also had some interaction with Diana and she has a wonderful personality and really instilled that bartenders are more than just drink pourers and not let "the people who feel they pay our rent" treat you like less than you are. As my subject states, "I raise my glass to you" in sheer appreciation for the wonderful learning experience. Cheers Lamont
