Flair bartending is working flair. It's movements with your tools from mixing bowls/shakers, glassware, napkins, garnishing, ice, bottles, etc. Working flair is the putting together of an enhanced style of bartending which can actually be used on the job in a licensed establishment.

Flair vs. Performance Bartending
Performance bartending, although a style of flair is generally reserved for competition purposes. There are many extremely talented performance bartenders throughout North America training and competing on a regular basis. Meet Jeremy (B.S.O.'s flair bartending instructor)
After graduating from B.S.O. in 1998, Jeremy started his career at PCYC and the Liberty Group. Shortly there after he began employment at a private golf & country club where he still remains today. He has worked as a bartender in Canada and the Caribbean. Jeremy has worked most venues like Club, Pub, Sports Bar, and Banquet Halls. After extended hours of training and national and international competitions, Jeremy also works as The Bartending School Of Ontario's Flair Instructor. As Jeremy states "service first, flair second, and "FUN" all the time. Jeremy can be seen on CTV this fall on "Good Morning World" and is curranty working on an up-coming movie "THE LOVE GURU" starring "MIKE MYERS" being filmed in Toronto. Secondly, Jeremy and The Bartending School Of Ontario have filmed an episode of "MATCHMAKER" on November 9/07. Many other venues including "2" other upcoming movies to be shot in Toronto.
